Introduction

Cloud Daddy Secure Backup (CDSB) is a cloud-native backup and security solution built specifically for Amazon Web Service (AWS), utilizing native Amazon APIs and Amazon’s best practices. CDSB provides a comprehensive, easy-to-use and reliable platform for backup management of Amazon EC2 instances, volumes, VPC, FSX, Hyper-V, ESXi, RDS databases, Aurora and Redshift clusters utilizing AWS native incremental snapshots as well as Amazon Machine Images (AMI). The solution is built on a three pillar foundation offering a holistic and modern approach to data protection in today’s cloud world, combining backup and recovery, advanced security features and infrastructure management as a native application for AWS. It is available in five service levels, depending on the number of instances an enterprise is running.

CDSB is marketed and sold as a virtual Amazon Machine Image (AMI) through the Amazon Marketplace. After you launch the instance from the Amazon Marketplace and go through the configuration process, you can start backing up and securing your data using CDSB.

CDSB has four different editions: Starter, Growth, Enterprise and Elastic. To see the different editions with pricing and feature details, visit the pricing page at https://clouddaddy.com/pricing on the Cloud Daddy website. The Elastic edition is fully configurable and intended for customers with large AWS infrastructures (100+ AWS instances). Every edition of CDSB includes a full featured free trial available for 14 days.
