AWS WAF is a web application firewall that helps protect your web applications from common web exploits. CDSB provides an efficient and user-friendly way to manage AWS WAF conditions, rules and Web ACL (access control lists). After you set the rules and Web ACL’s for WAF, you can use them on either Amazon CloudFront as part of your CDN solution or the Application Load Balancer (ALB) that fronts your web servers or origin servers running on EC2.
To manage WAF through the CDSB console select the WAF IPS menu item. The CDSB WAF module will display. The CDSB WAF module consists of three tabs:
•Conditions – intended for setting the conditions for the WAF rules.
•Rules – used to create rules that may incorporate several conditions.
•Web ACLs – intended for Web access lists management.
